The Issuer Limited, the issuer of the SUMX (Summer Point Token) the real estate-backed token, announced strong operating results for Summer Point Building, the underlying asset backing SUMX, following its first year of trading on Bitkub Exchange. The project recorded an approximately 5% increase in average rental rates, while several key tenants renewed their leases, reinforcing stable recurring income and long-term cash flow. The continued rise of Thailand's Wellness & Sport sector has also attracted a steady pipeline of new tenants, further strengthening the project's long-term growth outlook.
Mr. Arin Ratnakovit, Director and Deputy Chief Asset Management Officer of The Issuer Limited, said the strong performance demonstrates the resilience of Summer Point's business model and its ability to create sustainable value through active asset management and strategic tenant selection.
Mr. Arin disclosed that since its launch, Summer Point has increased its average rental rate by approximately 5% compared with the project's initial opening. The property is currently home to more than 17 tenants, while negotiations are underway with approximately two additional prospective tenants, representing an estimated 10% of the project's total leasable area. This continued leasing momentum reflects strong market demand and highlights the property's ability to enhance long-term asset value.
The project continues to benefit from the rapid expansion of Thailand's health, wellness, sports, and lifestyle industries, which remain among the country's fastest-growing consumer sectors. As a result, Summer Point has developed a well-diversified tenant ecosystem across wellness, sports, food and beverage, education, beauty, offices, and lifestyle services, reducing concentration risk while creating a vibrant destination that attracts consistent customer traffic.
Another key driver of the project's performance has been the successful renewal of leases by several major tenants. These long-term commitments reflect tenant confidence in the property's location, customer traffic, and business potential, while strengthening recurring rental income and improving long-term cash flow visibility for the underlying asset.
