SiS Distribution (Thailand) Public Company Limited (SiS), a leading technology distributor and solar solutions provider in Thailand, has officially launched its new Solar Distribution Hub in Rayong Province, marking the company's ninth Solar Hub and its first dedicated clean energy distribution center in Eastern Thailand.
The expansion reinforces SiS's commitment to strengthening its nationwide logistics and service infrastructure while supporting the rapidly growing demand for solar energy solutions across Thailand's commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
The new facility represents a strategic investment in clean energy supply chain infrastructure, enabling SiS to enhance product availability and delivery efficiency throughout the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The hub is designed to support the distribution of more than 10,000 solar panels per month, ensuring faster delivery and improved service capabilities for contractors, project developers, industrial customers, and homeowners in the region.
Located at 68/23 Moo 4, Noen Phra Subdistrict, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong Province, the new Solar Hub is strategically positioned within Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), one of the country's most significant economic and industrial development zones. Covering Rayong, Chonburi, and Chachoengsao provinces, the EEC serves as a key investment destination for high-growth industries including electric vehicles (EVs), electronics, petrochemicals, logistics, digital technology, and advanced manufacturing sectors, all of which are driving increasing demand for renewable energy adoption.
The launch aligns with Thailand's accelerating transition toward clean energy. Demand for solar power solutions continues to rise across industrial facilities, commercial buildings, large enterprises, and residential users seeking to reduce energy costs while advancing sustainability objectives. Thailand has also established ambitious environmental targets, aiming to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050 and Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2065, making renewable energy investment an increasingly important business strategy.
In parallel, the country's Power Development Plan (PDP) continues to prioritize renewable energy expansion, with solar power recognized as one of the fastest-growing and most economically viable renewable energy sources. Advances in solar technology, declining installation costs, and growing energy efficiency requirements are expected to drive sustained growth in Thailand's solar energy market over the coming years.
Today, SiS supports a nationwide network of more than 1,500 solar business partners and has achieved over 200% growth in its Solar Solutions business during the first half of the year compared to the same period last year. This strong growth reflects increasing demand for clean energy solutions across multiple sectors, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, logistics centers, residential projects, and organizations pursuing ESG and sustainability initiatives.
To meet this growing demand, the Rayong Solar Hub maintains readily available inventory of leading solar panel brands, including LONGi and JA Solar products, which are widely adopted in commercial and industrial projects. These high-efficiency solar technologies help maximize energy generation, enhance long-term performance, and improve return on investment for customers.
Mr. Somchai Sittichaisrichart, Managing Director of SiS Distribution (Thailand) PCL, said "The transition to clean energy is no longer a future trend—it is happening now across industries worldwide. Businesses are facing increasing pressure from rising energy costs, competitive challenges, and sustainability requirements imposed by global supply chains. As a result, investment in solar energy has become a strategic priority for organizations seeking long-term growth and resilience.
At SiS, we believe the role of a modern distributor extends beyond product distribution. We serve as a connector of technology, innovation, and business ecosystems, enabling our partners to achieve sustainable growth. The launch of our Rayong Solar Hub forms part of our long-term strategy to strengthen Thailand's clean energy supply chain infrastructure while supporting industrial expansion within the EEC, one of the country's most important economic growth engines.
We will continue expanding our Solar Hub network nationwide to ensure greater product accessibility, logistics efficiency, and service excellence, while supporting Thailand's transition toward a low-carbon economy and sustainable future."
With the opening of the Rayong facility, SiS now operates nine Solar Hubs across key economic regions, including Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Surat Thani, Phuket, Hat Yai, Bangna, and Rayong, supported by a central Main Warehouse in Bangkok. Together, these facilities form a nationwide distribution network of 10 locations, enhancing inventory management, reducing delivery lead times, and improving responsiveness to customer requirements throughout the country.
The expansion further strengthens SiS's position as a leading distributor of solar energy technologies in Thailand and reinforces the company's commitment to building a robust solar ecosystem that supports contractors, project developers, system integrators, and business partners nationwide.
Looking ahead, SiS plans to further expand its Solar Hub network in strategic locations across Thailand to support the continued growth of the renewable energy industry and contribute to the country's transition toward a greener, more sustainable economy.
The SiS Rayong Solar Distribution Hub is now fully operational.
