centralwOrld, the ultimate Songkran landmark in the heart of Bangkok, delivers 6 days of non-stop festivities (10-15 April) Enhance your good fortune by participating in the ritual of pouring water on the revered Buddha images on the Five Great Buddhas of the Five Eastern Regions (Thailand, China, India, Myanmar, Laos): a blessings, water-pouring ceremony to welcome the Thai New Year, with a replica of the Emerald Buddha from Thailand, a replica of the Phra Buddha Metta (Buddha of Loving-Kindness) from Bodh Gaya, India, a replica of the White Jade Buddha from Mandalay, Myanmar, a replica of the Rulai Buddha from the Beijing Buddhist Site, China and a replica of the Phra Suk Phra Sai from Luang Prabang, Laos. Also, pay homage to nine sacred landmarks at Ratchaprasong and write blessings on gold plates for blessings for the Thai New Year.

The festival is packed with all-day entertainment and cultural performances from morning until night, with a dynamic line-up rotating daily. Highlights include live music shows, contemporary Thai dance, vibrant parade troops, and mini concerts by emerging artists.
