Officially Opened "Architect'26" ASEAN's Largest Building Technology Exposition and Most Influential Architectural Exhibition

Mr. Asae Sukhyanga, President of the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA), stated during the official opening ceremony of Architect'26 that in recent years, various professions have faced disruptions caused by war, pandemics, and economic challenges that have made employment increasingly difficult. This has been followed by the emergence of AI, which has raised concerns about job displacement across multiple sectors. As a result, continuous adaptation has become essential. In essence, the approach is to remain mindful in responding to AI - transitioning from traditional wisdom toward readiness for the modern world. Amid rapid global changes, Architect'26 serves as a platform for professionals to explore the balance between humanity and technology in pursuit of a sustainable future. Officially Opened "Architect'26" ASEAN's Largest Building Technology Exposition and Most Influential Architectural Exhibition

Architect'26 is recognized as the largest building technology exposition and the most influential architectural exhibition in ASEAN. This year's edition takes place from 28 April to 3 May 2026 at Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, under the concept "SATI : WISDOM : PROMPT," which focuses on establishing new wisdom in response to evolving work and lifestyle dynamics influenced by AI. The event aims to elevate Thai architecture to the international stage in a comprehensive and integrated manner. The total exhibition area spans 75,000 square meters, including 70,000 square meters dedicated to product and technology showcases for design and construction, featuring nearly 1,000 leading Thai and international companies.

An additional 5,500 square meters is allocated for exhibitions and activities organized by the Association, bringing together contributions from four professional architectural organizations: the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage, the Thailand Interior Designers' Association (TIDA), the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA), and the Thai Urban Designers Association (TUDA). The exhibition also includes works from more than 120 architectural firms and over 40 educational institutions nationwide. With its extensive exhibitions, seminars, and comprehensive product and service offerings, Architect'26 is expected to attract more than 325,000 visitors from both Thailand and abroad throughout the six-day event.

Mr. Jaturon Kingminghae, Chairman of Architect'26, added that the event is not merely an exhibition, but a significant milestone designed to inspire and transfer knowledge that will drive the profession and the creative economy in the long term. It aims to demonstrate to the global stage that Thai architecture possesses the capability to adapt and grow sustainably amid rapid technological change. The event is also committed to being the largest construction and architectural innovation exhibition in ASEAN, further elevating the profession to international recognition and advancing toward its goal of becoming "The Most Influential Architecture Exhibition in ASEAN."

The exhibition and activities at Architect'26 are organized into five main sections: 1) THEME EXHIBITION, 2) FORUM, 3) THE FOUNDATION, 4) INTELLIGENCE & COLLABORATION PLATFORM, and 5) ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES. Key highlights include "THAI INTELLIGENCE," the main exhibition reflecting the event's core theme; ASA ALL MEMBER - Thailand Only, which presents architectural works within the Thai context; and ASA EMERGING YOUNG ARCHITECTS IN THE AGE OF NEW DISRUPTIONS, showcasing works by the new generation of architects in an era of transformation.

The FORUM section is divided into two main categories: the ASA INTERNATIONAL FORUM, which gathers internationally renowned keynote speakers to present and exchange ideas on the relationship between "WISDOM" (human intelligence) and "NEW INTELLIGENCE" through diverse perspectives; and the ASA INSPIRATION LAB, which brings together designers, architects, thinkers, and leading experts from Thailand and abroad to share experiences, ideas, and experimental approaches shaping the future of design.

Another notable highlight is the Professional Association Exhibition, featuring contributions from TIDA, TALA under the theme "TALA: Thai Wisdom and Artificial Intelligence," TUDA, and regional architectural associations. The event also offers various service-oriented activities, including the Tripartite Collaboration Zone (ASA / ACT / CDAST), supported by the Architects Council of Thailand and the Council of Deans of Architecture Schools of Thailand. Additional activities include the Architecture Preparation Clinic by CDAST, as well as ASA CLUB, ASA BOOK SHOP, ASA KIDS CLUB: KITBLOX & FAMILY CORNER, ASA NIGHT AWARDS CELEBRATION, and ASA DAY HEY, which provide spaces for networking and engagement among members.

Numerous additional exhibitions and activities are available, inviting visitors to experience knowledge, creativity, and inspiration throughout the event from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

Mr. Supaman Munka, General Manager of TTF International Co., Ltd., the organizer of Architect'26, stated that this year's event continues to receive strong support from exhibitors despite ongoing economic challenges. A total of 913 exhibitors have confirmed participation, with approximately 10% from overseas. Among international exhibitors, 99.5% are from Asia and 0.5% from Europe, including countries such as China, Japan, South Korea, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Italy, Romania, and Croatia. This reflects the continued expansion of business networks and technological exchange within the construction industry. The event is expected to generate economic circulation of up to 22 billion baht within the design and construction sectors.

Pre-registration data further reflects the event's strength as a regional platform, with 95% of visitors from Thailand and 5% from overseas. Among international visitors, 78.34% are from Asia, followed by Europe at 12.03% and the Americas at 5.08%. The total number of visitors is expected to exceed 325,000 over the six-day period, with more than 70% categorized as professional visitors, including architects, designers, engineers, contractors, real estate developers, and building material distributors—key decision-makers within the industry.

"With nearly 1,000 exhibitors and approximately 70% of visitors being professional decision-makers, Architect'26 is not merely an exhibition but a business platform that is expected to generate over 22 billion baht in trade value, playing a significant role in driving the design and construction industry in the region," Mr. Supaman stated.

Key highlights this year include the Thematic Pavilion, presented in its largest edition to date with eight collaborative showcases between leading construction material brands and design studios, including WATSADUNIYOM x HAA Studio, VANACHAI x Studio Tofu, TODA x Supermachine Studio, PANEL PLUS x ACa Architects, HAFELE x HAS Design and Research, SCG x SaTa Na, BRT INTERTECH x Context Studio, and ALUFRAME x Unknown Surface Studio. The event also introduces the Thematic Pavilion Designer Choice Award for the first time, elevating design standards and industry engagement.

Another highlight is the Palette of Materials Pavilion, a newly introduced feature that presents materials in the form of mood boards—serving as an "inspiration map" composed of over 800 materials curated by more than 40 design studios. The pavilion creates a creative environment that connects material manufacturers and designers.

In addition, the event features a wide range of innovations and products launched for the first time, including the "Hafele Lighting Solution," a new lighting innovation by Hafele; a special tile collection by WDC; and "Ds Milano," Thailand's first ENF laminate by Decosource. These innovations highlight Architect'26 as a true platform for cutting-edge building materials and technologies.

Architect'26, under the concept "SATI : WISDOM : PROMPT," will be held from 28 April to 3 May 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
