WP Energy Public Company Limited, a comprehensive energy solutions provider and distributor of LPG under the "Worldgas" brand, is expanding its role from a cooking gas distributor into a "Growth Partner" and "Ecosystem Infrastructure" for Thailand's food industry. The company has launched the "Worldgas by WP Energy Puean Koo Kid Club: Rong Rian Lang Tao Roadshow," deploying a mobile classroom truck nationwide to empower small food businesses. The initiative aims to turn kitchen-line anxieties into a supportive "Safe Zone," offering restaurateurs an open space to share lessons, gain actionable know-how, and tackle business challenges together.
Chomkamol Poompanmoung, Chief Executive Officer of WP Energy Public Company Limited, explained that "Today's food entrepreneurs face not only rising raw material costs and volatile markets, but also the isolation of navigating tough business decisions alone. WP Energy established the "Puean Koo Kid Club" to provide a space where operators can connect as trusted partners. Through the new roadshow, the mobile unit travels directly to local communities across Thailand, creating a safe, welcoming forum where owners can trade real-world experiences, learn from industry veterans, and realize they do not have to struggle by themselves."
The "Puean Koo Kid Club" builds on three years of successful restaurant business seminars by WP Energy, now adopting a more "localized, frequent, and community-driven" approach traveling across all four regions nationwide. Grounded in the insight that food businesses need reliable support as much as they need cooking gas, the program provides practical business tools, creative concepts, and critical gas safety knowledge to help owners operate with confidence, and collectively build a food business ecosystem that grows sustainably together.
Chomkamol added that the initiative serves as a core engine in building an integrated partner ecosystem to reduce costs and open new revenue streams for local operators. Working alongside WP Energy's network of gas plants, retail dealers, and leading partner brands, the roadshow combines practical cost-saving perks—such as gas discount vouchers—with workshops led by industry specialists covering marketing, food trends, store management, and digital promotion to elevate operating standards and support local communities.
The roadshow kicked off with two pilot stops: on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at Baan Nhuer Nham in Pathum Thani, and on Monday, 26 October 2026, at NINETY 9 Garden in Nakhon Pathom. Sessions featured industry mentors Thanapong Vongchinsri (Torpenguin), Pornchai Nitmethawong (Tai from the Puean Tae Ran Ahan page), and food content creator Arm Air Hostess. They were joined by prominent local restaurateurs Ophat Prompriangchai, second-generation owner of Pathum Thani's "Ngow Pochana," and Virote Angnanont, owner of Nakhon Pathom's century-old "Ta Muu Tofu" tofu shop, who shared the behind-the-scenes hurdles of building iconic local businesses while networking with fellow operators.
Restaurateurs, street food vendors, and entrepreneurs nationwide can track future stops and join the "Puean Koo Kid Club" for free via the "เพื่อนคู่คิดธุรกิจร้านอาหาร" (Puean Koo Kid Thurakit Ran Ahan) Facebook page to gain fresh business ideas and partner privileges from Worldgas and its network.
