SIAM PARAGON PRESENTS THAI CULTURAL HERITAGE TO THE WORLD THROUGH "THE ART OF ROYAL CRAFT"
Siam Paragon, one of Bangkok's premier global landmarks, will host "The Art of Royal Craft: Explore Thai Heritage Experience" from 12-18 October 2026, offering international visitors an opportunity to discover and experience the beauty of Thailand's cultural heritage through a modern lens that blends traditional wisdom with contemporary creativity. This further reinforces Siam Paragon's position as a luxury global destination connecting people from around the world with the richness of Thai identity.
Attendees are invited to visit the "Thai Heritage and Artistry Exhibition" organized by The SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother at Living Hall, 3rd Floor. The exhibition showcases the exquisite nature of Thai arts and crafts through the 50-year history of the SUPPORT Foundation; the Arts of the Kingdom Museum (Sirikit Institute), displaying masterpieces of high-level Thai craftsmanship created by master artisans; the Khon Learning Center; and the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, featuring Thai costumes designed by Teeraphan Wannarat, a 2019 National Artist in Visual Arts (Fashion Design).
The event also features the work of Sudsakhon Chaisam, a 2023 National Artist in Visual Arts (Fine Arts - Stage Props), reflecting the beauty of Thai craftsmanship passed down from the past to the present. Beyond viewing the exhibitions, attendees can immerse themselves in Thai culture through diverse hands-on workshops—such as creating fabric bags featuring Khon mask motifs, crafting paper dolls in traditional Thai attire, and blending Thai fragrances from local plants and herbs—and take their creations home as souvenirs.
Another highlight is the "Amazing Thailand Global Thai Silk Exhibition," organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in collaboration with the Thai Silk and Culture Promotion Association. The exhibition presents Thai silk interpreted by international designers from five regions representing 100 countries, expressing cultural identities and traditions through Thai silk creations. It will be displayed from 11-18 October 2026 on Levels 1 and 3 of Siam Paragon.
At NEXTOPIA on the 5th Floor, the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (SACIT) will present "Future Craft Experience: Craft to Impact: Ten Wisdoms, One Sustainable Future", between 17 - 18 October 2026, Showcasing Thai handicraft groups that embody the power of Thai wisdom in generating livelihoods, strengthening communities, and fostering sustainable development. The event features natural-material basketry workshops and an exhibition of artworks created from eco-friendly materials.
A special highlight on 18 October 2026 will feature an exclusive workshop for registered guests, developed in collaboration with leading global luxury brands. The workshop will explore craftsmanship and artisanal excellence, reflecting the connection between art, culture and global creativity with Thailand's treasured heritage.
ICONSIAM INVITES THE WORLD TO EXPERIENCE "THAILAND'S TIMELESS HERITAGE" ON THE CHAO PHRAYA RIVER
ICONSIAM, the iconic global landmark on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, will welcome delegates under the concept "Discover Thailand's Timeless Heritage at ICONSIAM," presenting the charm of contemporary Thai culture in one of the most historically significant locations in the Kingdom.
One of the key highlights is The Royal Barge Experience "Colours of Splendour: Reflections of Artistry in the Royal Barge Procession" exhibition, running until 8 November 2026 at ICONLUXE, M Floor. The exhibition celebrates the grandeur of the Royal Barge Procession through a meticulously crafted display of all 52 ceremonial barges, accompanied by comprehensive historical information and cultural narratives.
