JAL and Liverpool FC Bring "LFC Soccer Clinic presented by Japan Airlines" to Thailand, Inspiring the Next Generation Through Global CSR Initiative

Liverpool Legends Sami Hyypiae and Natasha Dowie Join JAL to Inspire Thai Youth

Japan Airlines (JAL), the Official Airline Partner of Liverpool FC, has joined forces with Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand to host the "LFC Soccer Clinic presented by Japan Airlines," bringing the club's world-class training programme, based on the philosophy of learning to play "The Liverpool Way," to young football enthusiasts in Thailand. LFC Women's ambassador Natasha Dowie and Liverpool legend Sami Hyypiae made a special appearance to surprise and inspire the participants at Panda FC, Krungthep Kreetha 8, Bangkok, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The LFC Soccer Clinic presented by Japan Airlines represents a significant collaboration aimed at strengthening community engagement and empowering young people through football. Through these clinics, JAL and the LFC International Academy are proud to provide children, with a primary focus on JAL's CSR initiative for underprivileged youth, the opportunity to develop football skills and learn valuable life lessons, alongside a small number of participants from our partner networks. This time, JAL, together with Liverpool FC International Academy Thailand, brought this exclusive experience and world-class training programme directly to Thai youth.

The indoor artificial-turf football pitch at Panda FC, Krungthep Kreetha 8, was filled with excitement, smiles and enthusiasm as 32 Thai youngsters took part in a training session based on "The Liverpool Way," the philosophy and core principles that underpin Liverpool FC. The participants received hands-on coaching and guidance from coaches certified by the Liverpool FC International Academy, with a focus not only on developing their football skills but also on nurturing their potential both on and off the pitch and inspiring them to grow with confidence and purpose.

Beyond the exclusive on-pitch experience, the 32 Thai participants were also given an unforgettable opportunity to learn from and be inspired by two renowned Liverpool FC football legends. Sami Hyypiae, the club's legendary former centre-back, and Natasha Dowie, Liverpool FC's first official Women's Ambassador, joined the young participants on the pitch, sharing football skills and taking part in activities with them in a friendly and engaging atmosphere.

The young participants also had the opportunity to take photos with the football legends, receive autographs, and take home a special Goody Bag featuring an exclusive Liverpool FC x Japan Airlines football, creating lasting memories of the day.
