InMode Sets Bangkok as Host City for Global Summit 2026
Event Expected to Generate 500 Million Baht Economic Impact, Boosting Thailand's Beauty, Wellness and Spa Industries on the Global Stage
The prestigious international Global Summit 2026 brought together a global network of medical professionals under the theme "Restoring Vitality," creating new opportunities for Thailand's healthcare economy and tourism sector while driving a future in which the beauty, wellness and quality-of-life industries grow together.
Bangkok is emerging as a regional hub for knowledge, innovation and business opportunities in the healthcare sector as InMode, a leading international medical technology company, hosts the InMode Global Summit 2026 under the theme "Restoring Vitality - Where Aesthetics Meets Functional Life." The event brings together a global network of more than 700 physicians and specialists from around the world, alongside 6 Thai physicians, to exchange experiences and perspectives on the future of aesthetic medicine, health and quality of life. The summit focuses on applying technology and scientific evidence to advance treatment options in aesthetics, functional restoration, health and quality of life, while fostering international academic collaboration and professional networks among physicians and specialists. The event takes place from 4 - 7 November 2026 at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park.
Mr. Moshe Mizrahy, CEO of InMode, said that the summit serves as a platform for bringing world-class knowledge to Thailand to further advance the country's healthcare services. The gathering of an international network of physicians and specialists presents a valuable opportunity for participants to experience Thailand not only as a conference destination, but also as a destination for healthcare, relaxation and the restoration of life balance. This convergence of medical knowledge and wellness tourism creates opportunities for Thai businesses to showcase their strengths in professional expertise, service quality and distinctive hospitality, ranging from aesthetic clinics to wellness and spa services. It also provides a platform for building relationships and fostering future collaborations.
The event is expected to generate approximately 500 million Baht in economic activity through the summit and related activities, reflecting opportunities to distribute economic benefits across multiple sectors, including hotels, transportation, food and beverage, event management and healthcare services. It also provides Thailand with a platform to showcase its potential in aesthetic medicine, wellness and spa services to an international network.
Mr. Nadav Cham, VP Marketing & Sales and Service of APAC, said that Thailand has strong competitive advantages in the aesthetic medicine and healthcare industries, supported by 3 key factors that distinguish it from other markets. First, Thailand is a well-established medical hub with strong infrastructure and continuous development. The country has more than 500 medical facilities, including 61 hospitals and clinics accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI). In addition, Thailand has a national strategic plan to promote and develop its medical industry through 2034.
Second, trust and confidence. One clear observation is that patients place the greatest importance on their choice of physician and the doctor-patient relationship before considering the use of particular technologies or medical devices. This is consistent with research on Thailand's medical tourism industry, which has found that trust and patient satisfaction are key factors influencing repeat visits and recommendations to others. Third, clinical experience and expertise in treating Asian skin, which has its own distinct characteristics. Particular attention must be given to pigmentation concerns and treatment safety, which are just as important as the effectiveness of treatment outcomes.
A key focus of the summit is to provide Thai physicians with the opportunity to take on active roles as knowledge contributors and speakers, rather than merely attending the event. Dedicated discussion platforms will enable Thai physicians to present their own case studies and treatment approaches alongside international experts. The initiative also supports Multicentre Real-World Data Collection, bringing together clinical data from actual treatments across multiple institutions, as well as the joint preparation of research abstracts. These efforts aim to ensure that Thailand's experience and medical knowledge are shared in international academic journals, contributing to the development of global clinical practice guidelines. To foster long-term collaboration, the summit also promotes ongoing initiatives, including short fellowship exchange and training programmes, expert-to-expert mentoring and knowledge sharing, and the establishment of working groups to continue advancing cooperation beyond the conclusion of the summit.
"The success of this summit should not be measured solely by the number of participants, but also by the academic work that gets published, the knowledge that is shared and transferred, and the collaborations that continue long after the summit has concluded."
Ms. Pachara Boonkeat, Managing Director of InMode (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a company specializing in aesthetic and healthcare technology and medical devices, said that it is a great source of pride for Thailand to have been selected as the host country for this year's InMode Global Summit. She believes the event provides an excellent opportunity for participants from around the world to see that Thailand is well-equipped in terms of medical expertise, service quality and attentive patient care. In particular, the participation of Thai physicians as speakers alongside international experts demonstrates that Thai doctors possess the knowledge and experience to contribute to the global medical community. At the same time, participants will have the opportunity to experience Thailand's unique charm, including its cuisine, culture and warm hospitality, all of which are among the country's key strengths as a medical tourism destination.
She expressed confidence that the summit will support the sustainable growth of aesthetic clinics and wellness businesses in Thailand, driven by several key factors, including the knowledge gained by physicians, the readiness of professional teams, the appropriate selection and application of technology, adherence to safety and quality standards with measurable outcomes, and continuous follow-up care for clients. These factors will help position Thailand as a destination where people can confidently travel to receive healthcare services and recuperative care. For its part, InMode Thailand remains committed to supporting physician training, evidence-based research, clinical experience exchange and after-sales services to ensure that physicians are well-equipped to care for their patients and contribute to improving their quality of life.
