Thai Credit Bank Public Company Limited moves forward in driving business growth alongside building financial immunity for Thai people. Amid the rising household debt crisis impacting the grassroots economy, the bank strongly believes that sustainable debt resolution must begin with enabling people to access "practical financial knowledge for daily life." Consequently, the bank launched the "Train the Trainer" project to upskill Microfinance Branch Team Managers nationwide into "Community Financial Trainers," while transforming branch networks into "Community Financial Learning Centers" to ensure equal access to financial skills.
Currently, Thai Credit Bank operates a nationwide network of micro-loan branches, expanding beyond credit advisory services to establish more than 281 "Community Financial Learning Centers" across the country. Through the intensive workshops of the "Train the Trainer" curriculum aimed at developing human capital to drive the organization branch managers are equipped with skills to deliver financial knowledge that is easy to understand and instantly applicable. They are trained directly by the expert team behind "Tang To Know-how," who bring over a decade of experience in promoting financial discipline to help people manage money, secure stable livelihoods, and sustainably expand their businesses.
The curriculum prioritizes practical financial solutions tailored to real-life needs. It focuses first on applying knowledge to effectively manage small businesses, including liquidity planning and cost management. This is combined with encouraging behavioral spending shifts, savings discipline, and systematic household income management to address debt at its root causes. As "locals" who understand their respective areas, branch managers can rapidly and precisely deliver hands-on financial knowledge directly to communities without waiting for central operations.
Through these continuous efforts, the bank has elevated more than 338 branch and regional managers into community financial trainers nationwide, successfully empowering over 145,586 grassroots entrepreneurs and citizens. Post-training evaluations show improved financial behaviors, business growth, and effective household budget management among participants. This achievement reflects the bank's commitment to Creating Shared Value (CSV) to enhance quality of life and drive sustainable growth for the grassroots economy.
