TIME OUT LAUNCHES THE FIRST TIME OUT BANGKOK NIGHTLIFE AWARDS
Bangkok's nightlife takes centre stage at Hua Lamphong Railway Station on November 18, with 30 awards celebrating the venues, people and experiences shaping the city after dark.
Time Out Bangkok will launch the first Time Out Bangkok Nightlife Awards on November 18, 2026, taking over the historic Hua Lamphong Railway Station for a major celebration of Bangkok after dark.
Spanning 30 award categories, the inaugural awards will recognise the breadth of the capital's nightlife - from cocktail bars, clubs and rooftops to dive bars, listening bars, live music venues, late-night food and alcohol-free concepts, alongside the bartenders, DJs, bands and other people who bring the city to life.
The awards come as Bangkok enjoys growing international recognition for its nightlife scene, with Time Out naming Bangkok the world's best city for nightlife in 2026.
How the awards work
The Time Out Bangkok Nightlife Awards are built around independent judging and real venue visits.
A diverse panel of judges - including nightlife and industry experts, regular partygoers and members of Time Out's editorial team - will visit venues anonymously during the judging period.
Venues do not have to pay to be considered, nominated or win an award. However, any venue that wants to guarantee an assessment can purchase a Guaranteed Venue Review, which covers the cost of an anonymous judge visiting the venue unannounced and paying for their own food and drinks during the visit.
Purchasing a review guarantees only that the venue will be visited, reviewed and considered; it does not guarantee a nomination or award.
The deadline to purchase a Guaranteed Venue Review is October 18, with the overall judging period closing by end of month before shortlisted nominees are announced.
Nominees will be shortlisted in each category, with the official shortlist announced one week before the event. Winners will remain confidential until they are revealed live on stage on November 18.

Bangkok's biggest night out
The awards ceremony will transform Hua Lamphong Railway Station into a celebration of Bangkok nightlife, with awards, DJs, drinks, live music, performances and entertainment throughout the evening.
Live performances from some of Bangkok's most popular DJs and bands will keep the party going until late, with the full line-up to be announced in October.
Unlike a traditional industry-only awards ceremony, the Time Out Bangkok Nightlife Awards will also be open to the public, with General Admission tickets available for B1,000, including complimentary drinks and canapes.
The event runs from 6pm to 11pm on November 18, 2026, and is open to guests aged 20 and over.
