A new chapter for the world's leading platform for equality has officially begun as Miss International Queen(R) 2026 celebrates its 20th anniversary and welcomes transgender contestants from 27 countries to Thailand at THE WELCOME AND SASH CEREMONY, held at SCBX NEXT TECH, 4th Floor, Siam Paragon. The event unfolded in a vibrant atmosphere of excitement, colour, and friendship, as contestants arrived carrying their own stories, dreams, and power to inspire change.
This year's milestone edition is presented under the theme "The Evolving Legacy: Empower Every Voice," reflecting Miss International Queen's remarkable evolution over more than two decades—from a pioneering stage created to promote visibility and acceptance for transgender women into a global platform where contestants can showcase their talents, share their stories, and use their voices to advance issues that matter to society.
Alisa Phanthusak Kunpalin, Chairperson of Miss Tiffany's Universe and Miss International Queen, reflected on the milestone: "For more than 20 years, Miss International Queen has continued to grow and evolve alongside a changing society. What began as a platform where transgender women could express their identities and gain acceptance has expanded into a space where they can be seen in broader and more meaningful dimensions—including their talents, ideas, potential, and the value each individual can contribute to society.

The Miss International Queen(R) Organization continues to expand its global footprint through an active National Licensee network spanning Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Vietnam, the United States, Mexico, and beyond—working with local partners to elevate trans women and address grassroots community issues worldwide.
Chuwit Sirivajjakul Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), welcomed the 27 delegates to Thailand and highlighted the role of international events in showcasing the country's tourism appeal to global audiences. A centerpiece of the ceremony was the appearance of reigning titleholder Midori Monet (Miss International Queen 2025, USA), who officially presented sashes to the 2026 cohort before preparing to pass the mantle to her successor: "This past year taught me that holding this title goes far beyond wearing a crown—it is a platform to share your truth and inspire global communities. The Unveiling of "The Reborn Crown"
The event also unveiled The Reborn Crown, an exclusive design by God Diamonds. Drawing inspiration from the butterfly—the universal emblem of transformation and freedom—the crown pairs diamonds symbolizing inner strength and resilience with pearls representing wisdom, grace, and life experience. Rather than serving merely as a trophy, the crown stands as a sacred emblem of legacy passed across generations.
