Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) support the platform "ภูเก็ตต้องชนะ.com". A product from the public-private cooperation in driving digital applications for ameliorating the people's lives during the COVID-19 crisis. The digital platform will help manage information to ensure that people are thoroughly vaccinated. The target is to deliver vaccination of 2 vaccine doses to over 70% of the people within the vicinity to support the opening of the city to tourists on July 1st.

Dr.Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, president/CEO of depa, has disclosed that, in accordance to Mr.Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn, Minister of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), a directive was ordered for depa to fully support the implementation of digital technology in assisting Thailand to overcome the coronavirus pandemic crisis (COVID-19). One key platform being the "ภูเก็ตต้องชนะ.com", which integrated efforts from Phuket's provincial administration, digital startups, and the local private sector to accelerate its development since March.

depa, along with digital service providers, as well as government and private sectors, jointly developed the platform "ภูเก็ตต้องชนะ.com" in order to enable thorough and quick vaccinations for the people, and business operators in the area by utilizing the City Data Platform. Beginning with the public health database from the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office to screen for people at risk and in need of prioritized vaccination. Then, the general public can register, reserve the date and choose the location for their vaccination themselves. In addition, the system also stores the information of the two doses of vaccinations which can be viewed promptly by entering the ID card number. Currently, on the ภูเก็ตต้องชนะ.com platform more than 350,000 people have been registered and booked for vaccinations. The goal is to reach over 70% of the people with the 2 doses of vaccine before the opening of the city to receive tourists on July 1st, 2021.

This is an exemplary result of the efforts in applying digital technology to the city's information management. Utilizing the information and solving problems directly, and quickly. It is also important to recognize the strength of Phuket. From both the government agencies and private sectors that readily provided their expertise to solve problems in a timely manner," said the president/CEO of depa.
