OIC accredits TII and SkillLane to introduce the first e-Learning CPD course for insurance broker license renewal

Mr. Tadthep Sujitjorn, President of the Thailand Insurance Institute, explains that the SkillLane e-learning system will accommodate insurance brokers by allowing them to schedule learning time by themselves and doing away with the need to complete 10-hours straight of training. In addition, brokers can access the training course via computer, tablet or smartphone, save time and travel expense as well as reduce risk of Covid-19 infection. The TII has selected qualified speakers and adopted improved content and learning techniques to suit the e-learning platform. The Institute is also strictly controlling training quality in line with the requirements of the OIC to ensure trainees benefit from the best training experience through this partnership.

Mr. Titipong Pisitwuttinan, Co-founder & CEO, SkillLane Education Co., Ltd., notes that the Covid-19 outbreak has affected all face-to-face activities including those for individual professionals such as insurance brokers who are required to take CPD courses to maintain their licenses. Training will be open for applications every Monday with no limit to number of brokers taking each class, as the system is able to support over 10,000 participants. In addition, the trainees can learn via various devices including computer, tablet or smartphone with a minimum 3G connection. After completing the course, the trainees will receive e-Certificate via e-mail.

The system will authenticate participants through a photograph and the identity card of each trainee both prior to accessing the system and during the training.
