As a result, KBank is the first and only financial institution in Thailand to have been included in the GEI, for the third consecutive year, due to its commitment to maintaining gender equality on par with international standards.

In terms of human resource management, KBank promotes equality for women in the workplace and gives them fair and equal opportunity to demonstrate their capacities. Presently, KBank's Board of Directors comprises seven female directors, accounting for 39 percent of the total 18 directors. Both the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of KBank are female. Its share of female in all management positions accounts for 47 percent of total management workforce, and its number of female employees accounts for approximately 70 percent of total staff members, because KBank values diversity and also offers career advancement opportunities for its employees and encourages them to show creative ideas for the improvement of products and services in order to create sustainable value for all stakeholders.

The firms included in this assessment must attain scores which are above Bloomberg's global threshold in terms of disclosure and performance across the framework's five pillars, namely 1) Female Leadership and Talent Pipeline, 2) Equal Pay and Gender Pay Parity, 3) Inclusive Culture, 4) Sexual Harassment Policies, and 5) Pro-Women Brand.
