Krungsri appoints Chief Information and Digital Officer

Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) recently announced the appointment of Mr. Sayam Prasitsirigul as Chief Information and Digital Officer, subsequent to the retirement of Ms. Voranuch Dejakaisaya, effective from 1 January 2021 onward.

Mr. Sayam has more than 25 years of experience in finance and banking in leading domestic and international financial institutions. Throughout his period of 9 years at Krungsri, Mr. Sayam has delivered outstanding accomplishments for Krungsri and SME Banking Group. He has led SME banking business to achieve solid growth and secured a leading position for Krungsri in SME banking business in Thailand. As a Chief Information and Digital Officer, Mr. Sayam will draw on his extensive experience and expertise in strategic planning, business management and analysis, and product and service development together with his engineering and IT background to make Krungsri achieve even more sustainable growth in the future.

In capacity of Chief Information and Digital Officer, Mr. Sayam will lead digital and innovation in various aspects such as Digital Banking and Innovation, IT Strategic Planning and Governance, IT Core Banking Mainframe Solution and Operations, IT Infrastructure and Operations Technology, and IT Security.

Mr. Sayam holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University and a Master of Business Administration from The Claremont Graduate School, USA.
