AirAsia Adds Krabi-Chiang Mai, Krabi-Singapore Flights
Increases Bangkok-Krabi Frequency
Promotional Fares Starting at Only 690 THB Per Way

AirAsia adds two new routes; Krabi-Chiang Mai and Krabi-Singapore, while increasing the frequency of its Bangkok-Krabi flights to 8 daily to spur tourism to the southern get-away destination in line with its mission to provide easy travel to a variety of destinations. The airline inaugurates the new additions with a promotional fare starting from only 690 THB per way available from today until 27 October, 2013 (inclusive of airport tax and fees).

Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, said AirAsia is forging ahead with the strengthening of its flight network by continually enhancing popular routes. He pointed out that Krabi is a popular destination for both Thai and foreign tourists. While the Bangkok-Krabi flight has had its frequency increased several times, it has still yet to match demand. In this most recent enhancement, the flight frequency will be increased to 8 flights a day starting 25 November, 2013.

“We believe that connecting Krabi to a variety of other destinations will provide travelers with more convenience and will thus be introducing Krabi-Singapore this 25 November, 2013 and Krabi-Chiang Mai this 15 December, 2013”.

AirAsia is also offering a special promotion available for booking from today until 27 October, 2013 with fares starting at only 690 THB (inclusive of airport tax and fees) for travel from Krabi to Chiang Mai during 15 December, 2013 to 5 August, 2014. Promotional fares start from only 990 THB per way for flights from Krabi to Singapore from 25 November, 2013 to 5 August, 2014. For more information, please visit

The additions will make AirAsia the airline with the most flights to Krabi; flying from Bangkok 8 times daily, Chiang Mai once daily, Singapore once daily and Kuala Lumpur twice daily. Travelers can also connect to over 85 other destinations with ease on AirAsia.
