At this time, AIS tested a new use case with 5G technology for control cranes installed in various areas within the port from the remote control room by helping the crane operators to switch the control of each crane to lift up and down the containers independently and immediately by using the signal to control the crane from the control room via the AIS 5G network toward the crane that installed in the port by bringing the excellent features of 5G in terms of Speed and Latency that are fit to apply in the transportation and logistics industry which will improve management of cranes to lift up and down the containers with enhanced efficiency. This port is located on the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), which will be a model for the logistics industry to recognize the benefits of 5G technology and can be applied in practice in the future.
