Dusit Thani College is honoured in once again receiving the certificate of accreditation from the Office of the Higher Education Commission of Thailand (ONESQA), which serves to guarantee that it is providing educational quality and a standard of excellence in Higher Education. This authentication is implemented for a period of 5 years, with the standards of this assessment provided by law.
Dusit Thani College is one of Asia’s leading private hospitality colleges, offering internationally recognised degree programmes as well as non-degree programmes in all aspects of hospitality, culinary arts, restaurant, and tourism management. With its aspiration of prominence as Asia’s premier international educational and training institute, Dusit Thani College sustainably develops and offers high quality education with highly competent graduates who acquire first-rate professional skills, creativity and innovative outlooks.
The Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (Public Organization) or ONESQA (www.onesqa.or.th) plays a significant in performing educational quality assessment. Its aim is to develop a qualified educational management system and administration for all education institutes where learners can be provided with opportunities to nurture themselves to become qualified grown-ups with virtue, competence and happiness through their life-long learning experiences and activities. ONESQA is established with the aims of developing the criteria and methods for external quality assessment; assessing educational achievements in order to check the quality of educational institutions, bearing in mind the objectives, principles and guidelines for educational provision at each level as stipulated in the national education law. External quality assessment of all educational institutions will be made at least once every five years since the last assessment. The assessment outcomes will be duly submitted to the agencies concerned and the general public. ONESQA’s four strategies are Development of Body of Knowledge to Enhance Expertise, Development of Assessment Process, Utilization of Assessment Results for Quality Development and Innovation Leading to Internationalisation.
