Master Ad Plc. Announced Impressive Profit for FY2004 Continue the investments to expand its business

Master Ad Public Company Limited has announced a significant profit in the company's financial performance for its fiscal year, ended 31 December 2003. The company has shown the net profit of Bt65 million, which is Bt48.4 million more than last fiscal year, ended 31 December 2002.

The reasons for the dramatic growth was considered as the ongoing development of new Out-of-Home media and the Out-of–Home media consumption growth in 2003.

Mr.Noppadon Tansalalak, President and C.E.O. of Master Ad Public Company Limited (MACO), Thailand's leading Out-of-Home media provider, announced the revenue of Bt379.8 million at 31 December 2003, which grew up by 28.5 percent or Bt84.3 million, comparing to the revenue of Bt295.5 million at 31 December 2002. While comparing the Gross Margin of Bt34.3 million of the fiscal year 2002 with Bt128.3 million of the FY2003, the growth is Bt94 million or 274 percent.

By the end of 2003, Master Ad has the Earning Per Share (EPS) of Bt0.60 and the Net Profit Margin of Bt65 million, which is Bt48.4 Million or 291.5 per cent more than Bt16.6 million New Margin profit of the fiscal year 2002.

The Impressive growth in the revenues was accomplished by the continuous launches of new Out-of-Home media and the media consumption growth last year. Also, the significant growth of the net profit was due to the diminishing cost and expense last year.

Mr.Tansalalak revealed that the projection revenues for 2004 are more than Bt600 million, with the growth of 60 percent, from the consumption growth of Billboard and Tri-vision, Tri-vision equipments export, and income from Railway Billboard, the first project which have the concession from the State Railways Authority of Thailand. However, he added that the projection revenues excluded the revenues from Take A Look, new company, co-founded with Samart Info Media Public Company Limited and Matching Studio Public Company Limited, which will be launched in March 2004, and other new investment projects.

In addition, its expansion on several Out-of-Home media investments, both inbound and outbound, which are now in the process of negotiation, are expected to play an important role in supporting the strong and significant growth of the company.

Master Ad Plc. has the market share of 16-17 percent in the Out-of-Home industry and expected to grow up to 25 percent this year as the sales revenues and the number of its media available in the market increased.

Hence, we have added more outstanding locations to cover every group of target audiences, and never stopped developing new and advanced Out-of-Home media for our customers to create more demand of these media consumption, e.g., Airport media,   LED, etc.", added Mr.Tansalalak.
