Company plans to provide updated data and hold meeting with university                           representatives to discuss the utility of the Thai ACR

Video Research International (Thailand) Ltd.,   (VRIT),   a   leader   in   the consumer marketing research industry, announced   today that it had completed the initial phase of its Thai ACR donation   by   successfully   deploying   the   Thai   ACR   2000   dataset and software to eight Thai universities.   The company is currently planning for   the   provision   of   year   2001 data to the universities in January.

Video   Research   provided   the   Thai   ACR   dataset   and   software to the universities   for   free   as   part   of   its   ongoing   social contribution program.

Thai   ACR   is a single source database that measures product consumption behavior   and   media contact of Thai consumers.   The Thai ACR is used by advertising   agencies   and   television   stations   in their marketing and media   planning.   The   survey has been conducted every year since 2000, the fieldwork for the Thai ACR 2002 has been completed.

Mr.   Tetsutaro   (Tom) Umeda, Managing Director of VRIT reported that the company   was   very   pleased   that   now   over   1,000   Thai   marketing and advertising   students are able to utilize the Thai ACR data and software in order to further their education.   The Thai ACR is available for both students   and   faculty   on   approximately   150 desktop computers located across   the   eight   recipient universities.   He went on to say that VRIT was   proud   that   its   contribution   will   be   an   important part of the education and training for the Thai marketing leaders of tomorrow.

The   completion   of   the   initial   Thai   ACR donation marks the end of a process   in   which   the   Thai   ACR   2000   dataset   and VRIT's analytical software   were   installed   on   computers   at the faculty of marketing or advertising   at   the participating universities.   These universities are Assumption   University,   Bangkok   University,   Chulalongkorn University, Payap   University,   Rangsit   University,   Thai   Chamber   of   Commerce University, Thamassat University and Turakij Bandit University.

Mr.   Umeda   stated   that   in   order   to maximize the benefits of the ACR donation   VRIT   is   conducting a series of training sessions for faculty and   students.   VRIT   has   a   great   deal   of   knowledge   and expertise concerning   the   use   of the ACR and it is very happy to share this with Thai marketing and advertising students and so enhance their educational experience.

Currently,   VRIT is making preparations to deliver the year 2001 dataset to   the   universities.   With this new data, faculty and students will be able   to   compare   year-on-year   trends   and   develop more realistic and sophisticated marketing models.

In   the   near   future   VRIT   is also planning to organize a meeting with faculty   from   the   universities who have utilized the Thai ACR data and software.   At   this   meeting   the   university representatives can offer their   feedback   on   the   Thai   ACR   as well as make recommendations for future   enhancements.   VRIT   will in turn provide an update on the Thai ACR   as   well   as   discuss   the   new   dataset that it is providing.   The company   will   also   provide   its   expertise and know-how to address any issues that the universities may have encountered.
